On August 8th, the Student Council hosted the "16 Summer Vacation Architecture Career Mentoring" for middle and high school students. The event began with welcoming remarks from Student Council Chairperson Jeong Jae-hee (Professor at Hongik University), congratulatory remarks from Park Jin-cheol, President of the Architectural Institute of Korea (Professor at Chung-Ang University), and a presentation by the 2025th Student Reporter Group of the Architectural Institute of Korea.
In Part 1, students who participated in career mentoring were provided with information about the Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering, extracurricular activities, school life, and preparations for future career paths and advancement. In addition, various mentoring sessions were held on career paths, academics, and current work in architecture.
Part 2 featured group experiential activities and presentations by participants. A total of 20 people participated, including 15 student committee members and student reporters who served as tutors, and 35 middle and high school students. The Architectural Institute of Korea plans to hold career mentoring sessions during winter break to broaden the scope of architecture and foster future architects.
