Our society holds an excellent graduation thesis exhibition every year to provide an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students from each university to share their innovative and progressive research results with the public. We hope that your advisor will actively recommend excellent graduation theses from each university so that they can be submitted.

Exhibition Venue: aT Center (located in Seocho-gu, Seoul)

Sponsored by: Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
ㅇ Content: Selection of excellent graduation theses and exhibition of award-winning works
□ Qualifications for submission
ㅇ Those who graduated (received a degree) in August of the previous year or February of the current year and have been recommended by their advisor (recommendation letter must be submitted)
ㅇ Academic Division: Both members and non-members can apply.
ㅇ Master’s degree program: Regular members of the society with no disqualifications (those who have paid their membership dues in full).

□ Application details
ㅇ Bachelor's degree: Undergraduate graduation thesis (Korean or English thesis)
ㅇ Master's degree: Master's thesis (Korean or English thesis)
■ The number of papers that can be submitted per advisor is 2 papers in total, 1 paper each for the undergraduate and master's fields.
※ The same paper cannot be submitted multiple times to the 22th Excellent Graduation Thesis Exhibition and the 2026 Spring Academic Presentation Conference.
□ Paper submission (1st online application)
ㅇ Submission Period: From Wednesday, March 4, 2026 to Thursday, March 12, 2026, 5:00 PM
ㅇ Submitted thesis: Graduation (degree) thesis in Korean or English
ㅇ Documents to be submitted:
- Graduation (degree) thesis (remove any information that may identify the author, such as the author's name, affiliation, and acknowledgements, from the original thesis, and then convert it to PDF and submit)
- Letter of recommendation from your advisor (download from the website (www.aik.or.kr) - Regular Events - Excellent Graduation Thesis Exhibition, write it, convert it to PDF, and submit it)
- Submission method: Submit files through the website - regular events - exhibitions - excellent graduation thesis exhibition
- Note: The maximum file size for a submitted PDF file is 30MB. When registering as a participant, in addition to entering personal information, you must also enter an abstract in Korean or English.
□ Exhibition poster submission (Winner: 2nd panel submission)
Submission Period: April 13 (Mon) - 17 (Fri), 2026
ㅇ Submission contents: One poster outlining the paper to be exhibited, limited to the selected papers.
※ The submission period may change depending on the paper review schedule, and winners will be individually notified (via email).
ㅇ Submission location
- Panel printout: 4th floor, Architecture Center, 87 Hyoryeong-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul
- Panel file. PDF: Submit by email (aikcompetition@aik.or.kr)
Poster production specifications: 600×900mm
- 600×150mm: Paper title, name, affiliation, and advisor / 600×730mm: Paper content, freely edited and organized by the author
- Submission after attaching 10 foam boards (planned)
ㅇ Note: If the poster is not submitted, the award will be cancelled.
ㅇ Depending on the exhibition format, submissions may be requested in a format other than form board submission.
□ Awards and prizes
ㅇ Target: Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award (1 piece) (Under review, to be confirmed in early March)
ㅇ Grand Prize, Excellence Prize, Encouragement Prize: Architectural Institute of Korea President's Award (multiple awards)
Prize: Grand Prize: 1.2 million won / All winners will be exempted from the society's annual membership fee for one year
※ The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award is awarded only to one main author (excluding co-authors).
※ The prize money given to the grand prize winner was donated by Lee Woo-dong and Kim Hee-sook in honor of their mother, Soon-young Jeong, in the hope that it will be beneficial to architectural education in Korea.
※ The award will be presented by the grand prize winner. (Other than the representative award winner, the award will be received in person or sent by mail.)
※ Annual fee exemption will be processed upon request to the membership manager after the award is confirmed. Awardees in the academic division (non-members) must pay the entrance fee.
For Master's degree recipients, the membership fee will be applied to the desired year starting from 2027 (the 2026 membership fee will not be applied).

The schedule and details are subject to change. Any changes will be announced on the society's website (Society News) and the conference website.
ㅇ Even after the award ceremony, if a disqualification reason arises, the award may be cancelled.
