On September 1, 1945, about 50 architects gathered together
Held the first general meeting at 36 Supyo-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul.
This is the day the 'Joseon Architectural Engineering Group (predecessor of the Architectural Institute of Korea)' was founded.

For the past 81 years, our society has researched academics and technology related to architecture, and
We have consistently strived for the advancement of architectural education and the improvement of architectural culture.

Moving forward, the Architectural Institute of Korea will keep pace with the changing times
To enhance the value of architecture and enable architects to play a greater role
We will move forward encompassing academia and education, as well as policy and industry.

On the path of putting architecture back at the center and shaping its future
