👉As we started out as a one-person office, we have placed greater importance on efficiency and completeness throughout the design process than on the traditional drawing or model-centered design methods.
👉The entire design process is digitally driven, and we define it as "digital craftsmanship." The firm's goal is to more accurately implement three-dimensional architecture and achieve a high level of completion within the same time and cost.
👣 What are the strengths of 'Joho Architects & Engineers'?
👉We've focused on efficiency throughout the entire design process, including employee training and work systems. By clearly defining the direction of our work, we aim to achieve greater efficiency within the same timeframe, thereby achieving high-quality architectural results under the same conditions.
👉Our ultimate goal is to create architectural results that are better than existing, inertial methods, based on digital craftsmanship.
👣What do you consider most important when hiring new employees?
👉Understanding and character in the digital design environment. Because the design process relies on 3D tools, basic proficiency with digital tools and the ability to interpret architectural proportions and balance within the digital environment are crucial.
👉Also, since architecture is a team effort, we value talents with the attitude, tenacity, and patience to collaborate smoothly with team members.
👣What should I prepare to help me prepare for job hunting?
👉As design firms across the board are rapidly transitioning to AI and digital platforms, the ability to handle complex digital calculations and analyze spatial experiences is becoming increasingly important. At the same time, it's crucial to clearly understand the type of architecture you want to pursue and the type of firm that best suits your style.
👉I believe that even times when results aren't immediately apparent, such as employment or internships, are part of a career, and that the process of clearly defining your goals and your own style and steadily developing them ultimately becomes an important asset.
