';Gyeonggi Provincial Library'; is a policy control tower representing libraries in the province and a new cultural space open to all residents of the province through various contents and spaces.
* Location: 40 Docheong-ro, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do
[Central Atrium]
💡The central atrium, which connects the basement level to the fifth floor above ground into a single vertical space, is the main movement route and visual and spatial central axis of Gyeonggi Provincial Library.
💡The spiral staircase creates a natural, organic flow, expanding the entire process of moving into an experience. Continuous indirect lighting surrounding the staircase maintains a sense of openness, while the wood lends a warm, balanced atmosphere to the space.

💡The circulation path was designed to allow users to move naturally from the first to the fourth floor, following a natural spiral. This path allows access to a variety of books, helping citizens embark on a journey to discover books.
Climate Recovery Library
💡The concept of "coexistence with nature" is incorporated throughout the entire spatial structure, extending beyond the architectural design to encompass energy systems and ecological programs. Reusable furniture and recycling spaces are installed throughout the building, contributing to climate recovery efforts.
[Complex Cultural Space]
💡This multi-cultural space allows users to naturally expand their learning and experience through various programs, including game play, an AI studio, a climate and environment workshop, and an exhibition space. With an open layout tailored to different generations and interests, the library is designed to serve as a central hub for cultural and creative activities.
