📌Bucheon Art Bunker B39📌
'Bucheon Art Bunker B39' is a creative platform-like space created by the structure and facilities of the incinerator bunker.
* Location: 53 Samjak-ro, Ojeong-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Bucheon Art Bunker B39
[ Bunker ]
💡The bunker, formerly used as a garbage storage facility, is notable for its preserved 39-meter-tall concrete structure. Currently, the space is used as a cultural space, hosting exhibitions and performances, utilizing the original structure.
[Air Gallery]
💡The Air Gallery is an outdoor space formerly occupied by an incinerator. The walls have been removed to reveal natural light and the sky. Based on the concept of a courtyard in a residential building, the gallery was designed to allow for a variety of viewing angles and heights.
[Multipurpose Room]
💡The multipurpose room, remodeled from the former central cleaning room, now houses a variety of exhibitions and programs. This spacious space is used for static activities like lectures and workshops.
[ Condensate tank area ]
💡The condensation tank area is designed for outdoor events and performances, serving as the central axis of the three-story corridor. During our visit, a music video was being filmed, giving us a glimpse into the space's future potential.
