⠀
📌Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul📌
Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul is a renovated multi-brand experience space designed to allow full focus on the essential content of automobiles.
* Location: 738 Eonju-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
[ From Molten Iron to Automobiles, the Spatialization of 'Zero to Zero' ]
💡 The exposed steel pipe frame visually represents the Zero to Zero resource cycle from steel to automobiles. It creates a visual flow that serves as a backdrop highlighting the car and a structure conveying the brand philosophy.
[ Establishing 'Spatial Identity' Beyond Simple Renewal ]
💡The space has been renovated to function as a vessel for content, focusing on the essence of the automobile. While the overall spatial structure of the building remains similar, a completely new sense of space has been created on each floor solely through internal exhibitions and programs, in line with the flow of the times.
[ Community for Stay and Exchange ]
💡 The 1st and 2nd floors are community spaces where cultural exchange takes place, based on the concept of a library. It blurs the boundaries between exhibitions and relaxation, enhances lingering through flexible circulation, and strengthens its public character through a membership lounge and co-working space.
[ ';Diecast Wall'; ]
💡108 intricate miniatures are on display at the 'Diecast Wall' in the IONIQ Zone on the 4th floor. The car models offer the pleasure of microscopic observation, allowing you to closely examine the combinations of various exterior colors and interior materials, much like checking samples in architecture.
[ A strange frame defying gravity, Car Rotator ]
💡 Spanning from the 3rd to the 5th floors, this unconventional device penetrates the internal and external view, twisting the horizontal perspective to reveal the vehicle's undercarriage and mechanical details. It is not merely a place to display cars, but a stage to experience Hyundai Motor's philosophy firsthand.
[ The Story of a Space That Continues to Be Used ]
💡This space is not a fixed structure, but a place that continuously evolves to match changing content and tastes. It will continue to be a space that creates automotive culture together with people.
