Ninety-fifth, Containing Space: Foreplan
⠀
📌Foreplan📌
';Foreplan'; is a sensory cafe space that allows you to feel architectural sensibility and leisure in your daily life, with a unique interior and sophisticated space composition inspired by an architectural office.
* Location: 14st floor, 30-11 Wangsimni-ro 1-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
[Architecture office concept cafe]
💡 Originally intended to be an architectural office, 'FLPM' has been transformed into a cafe due to its increasing popularity. Inside and outside the cafe, you'll find tracing paper, cutting mats, and architectural models, all of which are typical of an architectural office.
[Traces of the Architect]
💡 The architect's traces are evident in the sketches drawn on the walls, as if they were notes taken during the building's construction, the actual cafe floor plans, and the seemingly hand-crafted furniture. The shelves behind the tables are stacked with actual interior design magazines and sample booklets. This gives a glimpse into the sincerity and dedication that went into this space and its architecture.
[ Originally an office ]
💡 Since it was originally planned as an office space, it has a workroom atmosphere.
💡Each table is equipped with a cutting mat and lamp, serving as a placemat. Thanks to the ample outlets, many people actually visit to work. The high ceilings and wood-toned space are warmly lit, creating a perfect space for concentration. In the evening, this space transforms into a whiskey bar, adding a touch of charm to the atmosphere.
[Architecture Concept Menu]
💡 The architecture firm's concept fits the cafe's aesthetic, and the desserts are also inspired by architecture. Their signature dish, "Section Model," is an ice cream dessert reminiscent of a cross-section of a building.
💡'Marble Chocolate', chocolate shaped like terrazzo marble, is also a fun dessert. The menu also incorporates architectural elements, creating a playful experience for visitors.
