• The Gyodong Elementary School building is 53 years old (completed in 1972) and is showing signs of functional and performance deterioration. Furthermore, due to its somewhat unfavorable facility environment for accommodating the curriculum, such as creating learning environments for diverse and evolving teaching and learning methods, an expansion and renovation project is necessary.
• Space planning linked to the school curriculum from a comprehensive perspective to improve the appropriate scale in response to the decline in local students, rather than a simple facility project to upgrade aging school facilities.
• By partially opening and sharing school spaces with the local community, we aim to establish the school's role as a central space for community culture formation and life, and to formulate necessary school spaces and layout plans from a mid-to-long-term perspective.
• Improvement of appropriate scale for small and depopulated schools (student numbers), spaces of useful size and function, expansion of Neulbom Schools, and securing facilities capable of responding to regional decline.
