Academic and regular events Activities

• Academic presentation The Annual Conferences Academic thesis presentations, special lectures by famous architects at home and abroad, and participatory competitions with academic committees and external organizations are held every April and October. The AIK annually holds regular academic conferences. Hundreds of research papers are presented at each conference, in which the members in both academic and industrial fields participate and exchange their research results, current research trends, and other related informations.
• Asian Architecture Exchange International Symposium International Symposium on Architectural Interchanges in Asia, ISAIA An international symposium jointly held every two years by the Architectural Institute of Korea, the Architectural Institute of China, and the Architectural Institute of Japan. The ISAIA is a biennial international symposium co-sponsored by the Architectural Society of China (ASC) together with the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ) and the Architectural Institute of Korea (AIK).
• architecture day The Architecture Day The Federation of Architectural Societies of Korea (FIKA, jointly organized by the Architectural Institute of Korea, the Korean Institute of Architects, and the Korean Institute of Architects) is held every September to promote unity among architects and present a new vision for future architecture. The AIK has first established the “The Architecture Day” in 2005, commemorating of completion of the Gyeongbokgung Palace and the AIK together with the Korean Institute of architects (KIA) and the Korea Institute of Registered architects (KIRA) has been holding the event annually . The FIKA encourages architect through the event to take pride in their work, and provides motivation for the continuous advancement of technology and national development by rewarding and rewarding architect for their contribution to the economic development and national prestige.
• Digital Architecture Competition The Digital Architecture Exhibition(DA) Held every other year to pioneer new architectural informatization fields, promote building information infrastructure, and spread the architectural informatization mindset Since 2000, the AIK hosts a digital content competition in order to explore new areas of architectural information, promote the establishment of it and popularize the mind of it.
• student work exhibition The AIK Student Architectural Exhibition It contributes to the development of university design education by mutually exchanging information and data on the achievements of architectural design education in domestic universities. The AIK hosts The AIK Student Architectural Exhibition in accordance with the autumn academic conference. First launched in 1997, it exhibits excellent student design work recommended by each university or graduate school nationwide.
• Excellent Graduation Thesis Exhibition The Student Thesis Exhibition As a place to publicize and share innovative and forward-looking research achievements of undergraduate and master's students at domestic universities, it is exhibited during the annual spring conference. The AIK hosts the Student graduation Thesis Exhibition in accordance with the spring academic conference. First launched in 2000, it exhibits excellent student graduation thesis recommended by each university or graduate school nationwide.
