Member benefits
- Granting of the right to vote and the right to vote for the president and vice president
- Use of the full text of publications such as academic journals (Journal '建築', Journal of the Architectural Institute of Korea, Architectural Research) and various event materials (limited to those who have paid the annual membership fee)
- Possible to act as a member of the academic society committee (subcommittee members apply through the homepage)
- Preferential participation fee for events hosted by the society (academic presentations, seminars, training sessions, field trips, etc.)

※ When registering as an associate member or student member, after entering member information and requesting 'membership fee waiver', the person in charge (e-mail: member@aik.or.kr) will waive the admission fee and annual fee after confirming the information.

In accordance with Article 7, Paragraph 5 of the Society's Operational Regulations, 'members who are unable to be active as regular members due to legitimate reasons during military service, overseas study, or long-term stay' will be exempted from paying membership fees during the application period if they apply for a break membership in advance ( However, during the break period, all member activities such as thesis submission and voting rights are suspended).
Change of qualification
If an existing associate member has graduated from college, submit the 'Application for Change of Qualification' via email (member@aik.or.kr), then you can change your status by paying the regular membership fee.
Withdrawal
Semi/regular members, excluding student members, submit a membership withdrawal form (e-mail: member@aik.or.kr) to not be charged an annual fee.
Special/library membership registration
